On est ensemble
AFTER almost three weeks of what was quite an intensive training camp, it feels quite good to have the opportunity to stop and connect with the homeland before setting off for South Africa. If only for the chance to savour the smells and sounds and remind ourselves of the task at hand…
On the whole, it’s been good to see, meet and mix with our brothers and sisters, the people we will be representing in South Africa and now it really feels like it’s time to get down to the serious business. get on that plane, arrive in South Africa and settle in and allow the coach and his staff the last opportunities to fine-tune the hard work they have done to present.
The whole nation seems engulfed by World Cup fever and though I have known and witnessed passion for the game I am quite taken but just how much my nation is in love with the game. Its a joy to behold but it makes me even more resolute to do my best if called upon and ensure this nation of ours holds its head up high in South Africa. Even the waiter at the breakfast this morning made me promise him I’ll help him win a bet he has made that Cameroon will make it to the finals!!!! Wow!
On a serious note, I would like to say that off the back of our recent training camp, we are a good, strong united group in positive spirit. I am generally an optimist and as such I feel we will get it together when called upon and in our Coach and our captain and in the funny, cool, different and talented group of players i am working with everyday, something tells me we’ll be okay…. Maybe more than okay…..
We leave for South Africa tomorrow and we know that we need to go with the best wishes of our nation and its people and we will do our best not to let you down.
But one little question, why does everyone say “On est ensemble?”

Hmm is anyone else having problems with the images on this blog loading? I'm trying to figure out if its a problem on my end or if it's the blog. Any responses would be greatly appreciated.
I'm not sure exactly why but this site is loading incredibly slow for me. Is anyone else having this problem or is it a issue on my end? I'll check back later and see if the problem still exists.

The core of your writing while appearing reasonable at first, did not really settle well with me personally after some time. Someplace throughout the sentences you were able to make me a believer unfortunately only for a while. I however have a problem with your leaps in logic and one might do nicely to help fill in those breaks. When you can accomplish that, I could definitely be fascinated.
My programmer is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the costs. But he's tryiong none the less. I've been using WordPress on numerous websites for about a year and am concerned about switching to another platform. I have heard excellent things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress posts into it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I do like the way you have framed this difficulty and it does indeed give me some fodder for thought. Nevertheless, through what precisely I have witnessed, I simply just wish as the actual feed-back pile on that folks stay on point and in no way start on a soap box of some other news of the day.
